It is controlled automatically by the micro-processor. The digital control electronics and high-quality sensor and heat exchange system guarantee precise temperature control at thesoldering tip. It is also ESD-safe to protect your sensitiveIC components. ESD-safe guarantees that static energy from your body will be "dumped" to ground through the plastic soldering iron handle or solder station plastic housing. Otherwise, your static body energy will possibly be transferred to the tip of your soldering iron and damage your IC components. ZD-8916 will discharge your body's static charge to ground every time you pick up the soldering iron.

ZD-8916 soldering station also comes with sponge compartment and tip-cleaning ball holder. It gives you more tidy working environment to concentrate on your soldering work.
