FAQ
Why my soldering iron is not heating up?
- Please make sure power has correctly connected. (A red LED light will turn on once you touched the steel ball switch)
- Make sure the threaded bush is screwed onto the tip (You will need to PULL off the protective cover not unscrew it. Unscrewwing the cover takes the threaded bush off as well & stops the soldering iron from heating up)
- If the threaded bush is not on, disconnect power and try again after threaded bush been screwed back on.

DOSS ZD929 SERIES SOLDERING STATIONS
These professional electronic temperature controlled soldering stations have been developed to meet the present and future needs of the electronics industry. They incorporate a sophisticated electronic circuit which enablesthe user to change the tip temperature from 160°C (320°F) to 480°C (900°F) without the need to change the tip or the heating element. The temperature is maintained within ±10° of its preset temperature.
This is made possible by an unique temperature sensor that is located near the tip. Resulting in rapid response and little temperature variation. The tip of the unit is isolated from the AC line by a transformer. Completely electronic switching and grounded tip protects voltage and current sensitive components against transient spikes sometimes caused by other units utilising mechanical switching circuits.

The soldering iron and the desoldering gun tool of the soldering station are automatically controlled by two micro-processors. The digital control electronics, high-quality sensor, and heat exchange system guarantee precise temperature control at the soldering tip.
