These professional electronic temperature controlled soldering stations have been developed to meet the present and future needs of the electronics industry. They incorporate a sophisticated electronic circuit which enablesthe user to change the tip temperature from 160°C (320°F) to 480°C (900°F) without the need to change the tip or the heating element. The temperature is maintained within ±10° of its preset temperature.
This is made possible by an unique temperature sensor that is located near the tip. Resulting in rapid response and little temperature variation. The tip of the unit is isolated from the AC line by a transformer. Completely electronic switching and grounded tip protects voltage and current sensitive components against transient spikes sometimes caused by other units utilising mechanical switching circuits.
This unit incorporates a digital LED temperature readout which accurately indicates the temperature of the tip.

ZD-8916 is the excellent soldering station that built to suit wide temperature range. It is ideal for general purpose or specialised lead-free soldering applications. It is controlled automatically by the micro-processor. The digital control electronics and high-quality sensor and heat exchange system guarantee precise temperature control at thesoldering tip. It is also ESD-safe to protect your sensitiveIC components. ESD-safe guarantees that static energy from your body will be "dumped" to ground through the plastic soldering iron handle or solder station plastic housing. Otherwise, your static body energy will possibly be transferred to the tip of your soldering iron and damage your IC components. ZD-8916 will discharge your body’s static charge to ground every time you pick up the soldering iron.
ZD-8916 soldering station also comes with sponge compartment and tip-cleaning ball holder. It gives you more tidy working environment to concentrate on your soldering work.

The Doss ZD-917 soldering station is a high-performance and multi-functional station for electronic product research, production and rework. The soldering iron and the desoldering gun tool of the soldering station are automatically controlled by two micro-processors. The digital control electronics, high-quality sensor, and heat exchange system guarantee precise temperature control at the soldering tip.
The highest degree of temperature precision and optimal dynamic thermal behavior under load conditions is obtained by the quick and accurate recording of the measured values in a closed control circuit. This design is specifically for the lead-free production techniques.
The high power and slim design of the iron makes it a great choice for fine soldering work. The sensor on the soldering tip can control the soldering temperature quickly and accurately and the heating element is made of PTC. This iron gun is applicable for fine desoldering work due to its high power and gun type design.
