FAQ

Why does the packaging and label state 5.0V?
While the SM530C was going through the certification and approval process, the initial sample was 5.0V. Since then we have revised the design and have tested the output at an average 5.18V. Please note the voltage outputs always have an allowed tolerance that could be less or more.

Response from Radio Parts:
You have to make sure you have the right sized tip – 2.1mm and 2.5mm for example look the same from the outside but the inside diameter is different. If there is a connection issue it’s probably due to the incorrect tip for the unit. Most of the 12v PSUs ship with 2.1mm.
